Hiiiii friends! I am MaKayla, your new favorite photographer! I figured I should probably tell you a little about me! I grew up all around the world as a child because my father was in the Army. I then followed his footsteps joining the Air Force at 19. I call Alaska home! I am married with two littles who are my entire world. I am down to earth, I love kind people, and all things vintage. People often say I have an old soul.

2021
separating from the military
In 2021 I officially separated from the United States Air Force. I wanted to do more with my life and follow my dreams of one day becoming a professional photographer
2022
moving overseas
Shortly after getting out, we got orders to Germany! A lot has happened, I had another baby, being a SAHM, and my husband was gone a lot. I still had a dream of being a photographer
2023
Launching my business
After taking some photos of my husband and his team jumping, I decided it was time to try to launch my business, and BOY am I sure glad I did!!

going full time wedding and elopement photographer
Finding out that I adore being a professional photographer, and finding my niche. I decided to just send it and follow my dreams with giving everything my heart has to offer into it

With me as your photographer, I will give you tons of photos but only the photos that I believe are truly good. If you have a special request, I will promise to have that image within your gallery, even if it's not perfect!

I love to capture the day as is, without as many poses as possible. I want YOU to enjoy your day and not to be worried about stopping to take photos. With that said, there will be times I stop to capture a posed photograph but mainly I focus on documenting the day how it is!
